As indicated in the Second Schedule of six proposed Sessions, a Free Medical Health Check up Camp for the benefit of Bandhwari villagers was organized on Sunday, 9th December, 2018 from 10.00 am to 03.00 pm at the same venue, e.g. in-between the Earth Saviours Foundation and Government Co-Education Seniors Secondary School, Bandhwari Village.
More than a dozen doctors, nurses, supporting staff and technicians came from Artemis hospital and Gurgaon Civil hospital. In addition, a couple of doctors including a Dental Surgeon were arranged from other sources. The following parameters were taken care in the Camp :-
(a) Height, Weight and Blood check up;
(b) BMD (Bone Mineral Density) Test ;
(c) Random Blood Sugar check up ;
(d) Echo Technologist;
(e) Consultation by Sr. internal medicine doctors;
(f) Consultation by ENT doctors;
(g) Consultation by Dental Surgeons; and
(h) Consultation by Gynaecological doctors
As prescribed by the consulting doctors and requested by the poorer patients, medicines like Pantocid, Dolo, Shelcal, Augmentin, Volini Gel, Ciplox, eye drops etc. were also provided free of charge.
About 150 persons including an old lady (Vidya) of 100 years came to the camp for health check up.
An important role was played by members of CIRC, SUURHAE and the Earth Saviours Foundation in mobilization of villagers, especially ladies for the camp.
