The project was launched on 14th November 2018 in the presence of its sponsors, namely Shri Harcharan Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director and Shri Anil Chadha, President - Corporate Strategy & CFO of HPL Additives Limited, Faridabad, Dr. BK Rajora, Chief Medical Officer of Civil hospital, Gurgaon, Shri Ravi Kalra, Founder President of the Earth Saviours Foundation and more than 70 prominent villagers including ex-Sarpanch and Panches of village Bandhwari.
Ambassador LL Mehrotra, President of CIRC welcomed the Chief Guest, Shri Harcharan Singh, Shri Anil Chadha, Guest of Honour, Dr. BK Rajora, all members present of CIRC, SUURHAE, a team of FIMT, Shri Ravi Kalra and audience of the village. He gave a brief background of the organizers and the sponsor. He thanked all of them for their presence despite heavy rain earlier that morning. Ambassador RP Singh, President of SUURHAE and Secretary General of CIRC highlighted the details of the project which will be executed in six sessions from November, 2018 to March, 2019. He also delivered a brief talk on various health issues which will be explained to the villagers in the forthcoming Sessions.
Dr. BK Rajora informed the audience about Govt.`s various health schemes including Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Scheme which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day speech on 15th August, 2018. He said that the scheme was targeted at poor, deprived rural families and identified occupational category of Urban workers` families. The scheme will have defined benefit cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per year. The scheme became operational from 25th September, 2018. Shri Harcharan Singh highlighted the aims of the project and expressed his happiness over the launch of the project. He wished the organizers a grand success in their attempt. Shri Ravi Kalra and the Associate Professor of FIMT, Mrs. Rachna Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
