An amount of Rs 21000 was paid through Dr. Mrs V. Mohini Giri, Chairperson, Guild of Service, an NGO in consultative Status with the Department of Public Information, Economic & Social Council of the United Nations to help the needy people of J&K, who suffered due to natural disaster caused by huge floods in that state in September 2014. Individual members of the overning Council had also donated clothes, blankets etc to Rahatghar in Kashmir through Guild of Service.
